    How soon after spreading lime can one spread slurry. Do i have to leave if for a while?

    We often mix lime with slurry in the side slinger and it works just fine.

    Really? That Long?
    I spread lime 3 weeks ago, and now its not good practice to spread slurry for three to six months because???
    What will happen if i spread the slurry this week on the same ground?

    I put up a picture of a grassland leaflet I got from teagasc, its on page 30 of the "farming chit chat II" thread, gives slurry, lime, fert and time intervals between each application, will try and put it up here if you like

    is there something about not putting lime on ground that u are going to take silage bales of, it needs to be limed either 2/3 months before or after u take the silage of ???

    Isn't showing up on the pc for some reason so I've displayed it here. I was looking for it as a neighbour was enquiring about spreading slurry after fertiliser:
