I know Mcguirks up in Dublin always had a small section where they sold second hand clubs.

Does anyone know of a golf shop in Cork that does this?

    Thanks

I was out in American Golf in Wilton yesterday and they have 3 or 4 sets but pretty old - Ping Eye 2s and the like. Might be better getting a newer set?

To be honest it's not for me. My missus is interested in starting to play and rather than getting one of the millions of barely used second hand sets of ladies clubs on donedeal, I'm trying to maybe just pick her up a ladies PW and maybe a 7 Iron to see if she will stick with it.

She's been using my irons at the range and they're just too heavy for her to find a natural swing.

I only saw full sets for sale in American Golf - Mahers in town usually have lots of 2nd hand clubs for sale individually.

The pro shop in Lee Valley is good. Fair on price too

I'd also pick up a cheap 3/5 wood as well - it'll give her confidence at the start by being able to at least hit a ball and get some distance out of it.
