Hi folks,I have a question regarding selling a site which I have been granted planning permission on. I was granted permission to build a house on family land 3 years ago but a lot of things have changed (financial and family) since then. Now I am considering just buying a house as there appears to be good value at the moment. It would greatly help if I could sell the site that I was granted planning on,but as I understand it I am the only person allowed it build on this site. Any advise on how I can resolve this issue as I see loads of sites with planning for sale?

You need to get permission from the council, I know of a similar situation in the past and the council agreed but only based on the fact the buyer had a housing need i.e. they would have got planning themselves. Anyway you need to talk to the council and discuss what they may or may not allow.
