How to install Mac OS 10.4 to an iBook G3 Clamshell?

    It cant officially run it but there is a way to put it on there. Does anyone know how to do it.

    Put the disc in the drive, reboot and hold the 'C' key. follow the instructions !! You'll need 1GB of RAM for it to be useful though.

    This black error screen comes up, and it freezes.

    According to this, 10.3.9 is the max for a G3 Clamshell.

    XPostFacto may allow you to go to OS 10.4.
