The graphics card in the Sammy is actually a bit better although neither is a great gaming GPU. If you want play games both will equally disappoint you, if you don't play games then you're paying for something (a) you don't need (Intel HD 4000 is more than sufficient) and (b) drains the battery faster when in use. Speaking of which, the 3630QM (45W max TDP) will draw a lot more power then the 3612QM (35W max TDP), so the Lenovo will probably last longer on the battery (without knowing the battery specs).

Have a look at PC Specialist, all their 17" models have a 2nd HDD bay (since you want to add a SSD anyway) and can be ordered with a full HD display rather than the 1600x900 display used in the Samsung and Lenovo.

I won`t play games, but I might dab in website design so the graphics may come in handy for photo editing..

Had a look at Pc specialist, for this, its coming in alot (£200) more expensive and that`s with an inferior processor and much smaller HDD included.

Well, the Optimus IV has a GTX 660M wich is in a different league alltogether and that performance comes at price of course. With your budget, you should be looking at the Voyager II.
