Hi there, my friend and I were given this assignment at uni and we are a bit lost!

We both understand cashflow statements etc, but are unsure of how to forecast 10 years ahead

The company we chose is Vodafone plc and we have obtained their c/flow report online

Now how do we go about getting the next 10 year estimates?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

    Many thanks!

you need to decide on a growth % rate for Vodafone and make certain assumptions in order to justify your rationale behind that growth rate. The assumptions need to be based on costs, revenue, dividend policy and general economic conditions etc. If you have a look at different broker websites (research section) and their previous figures for Vodafone you'll be able to see what growth rate has been applied in the past. It would be a good starting point.
