    Hi,
    Thinking of travelling to Iceland this year for a 4-5 day spell and would welcome some ideas / itineraries. Winter / Summer are open so would welcome some ideas on either time frame from those who have traveled there. Accommodation in capital? Also, car hire Vs tours...All ideas welcomed....:rolleyes::rolleyes:

    I have been to Iceland many times (>20) and lived there for several months as well. I think its one of the best places on earth!
    I have posted quite a bit in the past on Boards about Iceland. See threads here and here for more. Happy to answer any specifics you have.
    Also the TripAdvisor Iceland Forum is very active and a useful tool to search.
