    In most cases you'd be right, there's some truly cringeworthy stuff out there. Pasty faced lads from Darndale or wherever trying to recreate the sound of Biggie Smalls & failing hilariously in the process. That said, check out MissElayneous, a female rapper from Finglas. Caught a set by her at Castlepalooza last year. Intelligent, sophisticated stream of consciousness style rap that with the right promotion behind it could hold up well even at the international level.
