So I was walking by a dealer last week and so I car I quited liked. The sticker read 14995, I took a mental note and went home, looked ot up later on the dealers website and it was 13,495. I dont understand the logic of that. Can anyone explain. Would it be that if I walked in I would get a better trade in than if I made my enquiry through the web?

    Thx

    Probably a typo.
Possibly a reduction on the car but they hadn't gotten round to changing the sticker price, not likely though

Very often dealers will advertise a car at a so called "straight deal price" so that it shows up earlier in searches on Carzone or Carsireland. If you look in the description it will say something like "price shown is straight deal price, trade in price €14995" or similar.
