Binatone 1000 PTT problem?

    Hi all.
    I got a set of Binatone 1000 radios and would like to use a headset with them.I have a military style PTT with a 2.5mm jack but doesn't work at all. The PTT can be rewired no problem, but I'm not sure if that will solve my problem, and have no idea of the correct wiring.

    Has anyone had the same problem and have found a solution?
