Best Islands in Fiji for a week visit

I'm going to Fiji for a week in 2 weeks. I've booked a Bula Combo Pass with Awesome Adventures with my girlfriend.

We have no info on what any of the islands/resorts are actually like apart from tripadvisor, which I find very hit and miss and the brochure we got upon booking.

Any info/tips from anyone who has done this before on which islands to definitely do/not do?

didn't do island hopping but did stay on one of the yasawa island in the octopus resort and couldn't recommend it enough!! i see that you can top up your pass to stay in that resort and i would really recommend you spend a few days here as its absolute paradise. the food is amazing, there is loads to do (some activities do cost a few bob but nothing too expensive) and there is a reef for snorkling and scuba diving just off the beach.

Yeah we can stay in Octopus if we want on the package we have booked. What exactly was so nce about this resort? It seems very nice but do you think it's very different from any of the other resorts?

well i can't personally compare it to the other resorts as we only did the octopus resort but a friend of mine did something similiar to what you have and he said that the octopus resort was the best place he went to.

the resort itself isn't huge but if you fancy doing something other than sunbathing then you've got the option of the many tours they offer during the day and there usually are different activities on each night too. the meals are fantastic and you have a great variety to choose from at each meal. the bar is opened all day too, you don't pay for anything until the end so just keep an eye on that! we stayed in a private garden bure and it was lovely listening to the sea at night.
