Is there a reset button on the 500 my yoke said I only did 60k today when I know I did about 85 and it said the max temperature was 20.5c up on military road

    To perform the master reset:

    Power device off
Press and hold Page/Menu, Start/Stop and Power simultaneously
Release buttons when the word "Garmin" disappears

Does that wipe everything stored on the Garmin to date?

If you leave it in direct sunlight without moving it will go bananas with the temperature. I 've seen it with my 800 as well, temperature was like 5-6C but very sunny, stopped for a coffee came back 20mins later and it was showing 21.

Have you downloaded the ride? You really need to do this to see what it has recorded and what chunk of your ride was missing.

:D I always take it of the bike when going for a coffee .
It was Saturday in enniskerry and the sun was just nice about 1 o'clock.

I'm going to swap it for a 705 the 500 is to much of a pro thing I think .
