Repair wing mirror

Hi, the glass fell out of my wing mirror on a Skoda Octavia. The surface behind it is soft but no longer sticky. Can I replace the mirror with superglue or will that affect the de-mister? Do I need to use some other type of adhesive?
    Thanks,
    Pistachio

Same thing happened to my dads octavia he ordered the glass in top parts they had it the next day and they had special glue too. He stuck it on and the de mister still works perfect afaik.

Theres this black stuff that comes in silicon tubes, garages use it to seal gaps or glue stuff together, its really thick, and turns rubbery in minutes, afterwards almost impossible to remove it and its really messy working with it.Dont know exact name but id say most motor-factors have it and costs like 10-20e which is enough for a lifetime.if theres rubber seals around it youd need just to fill gaps and place window back in.
hopefully someone will give the name for the stuff im speaking of here :)

I have left and right mirror glass with backing attached to suit octavia 05 to 09 if interested.
Will sell either one for €15.
