Thinking of doing a GP for my birthday next month with mates. We'll be leaving from Cavan and have really only got 2 options that I can think of Whiteriver or Midlands.

I've been to both before only it's hard to compare a session in the rain to one on a dry summers day! Anyone who's been to both a few times that can compare have any recommendation?

If you considered making it as far as Limerick, this indoor track is the largest in the world!

I was on this kart track last week. It's absolutely huge. I went with my uncle and we had great fun :D I couldn't recommend the place enough if you like karting.

Anyone that has been on the Midlands track will know how good it is!
We never go anywhere else, really fast track, some of the corners are pretty technical and hard to get right if you want to set good times, I'd recommend there!

White river is cool and frankly closest to you.

I think Whiteriver might be a little closer but it's mostly backroads to get there, would get to Midland just as quick.

Anything further away is pretty much out of question, was bad enough trying to get a group to go to whiteriver the last time

N3 to Navan across to Slane and it's ten mins up the N2 or hop into Monaghan and N2 depending on what part of Cavan.

    It's about 500m off the N2.
