New lot added to the sandy relief auctions:

    Lot Details

Attention WWE fans! This is your chance to change the course of WWE history. This package allows one winner to pitch a WWE storyline to WWE's Executive Vice President of Creative, Stephanie McMahon! As the mind behind the WWE storyline, this could be your one shot to leave your mark on Stephanie and the WWE universe!

    I love this detail:

There is no guarantee that Stephanie will use the storyline. If the storyline is used, there will be no compensation for the winner.

They should have did this thing back at the time of the hurricane. The emergency relief fund ran out months ago and many New Yorker's have been left at the mercy of insurance companies since, It's funny how the Government stepped in so quick for Katrina though.

A hollow gesture from WWE, and it's too dam late..

    Two things...

    1. Look at the list of bidders. One guy outbid HIMSELF a few times :confused:He bid 1500, then 1800, then 2000, then 2500.

    2. "Dance LIVE with Brodus Clay, Tensai, and The Funkadactyls In The Ring During a Monday Night RAW Broadcast" **** it, am tempted to pay for that one...

    EDIT: Better yet...

"Have a Private Dinner with WWE Hall of Famer Bret “The Hitman” Hart And Attend a Calgary Flames Hockey Game" Only 850 quid so far.

    EDIT 2

"Hang Out Backstage on the Set of RAW with ECW Legend Paul Heyman as He Tells You the Story of ECW, Including 2 Tickets To The Show"

    **** YES!

Been thinking about this over the course of the day and its starting to seem more and more ridiculous each time.

Like for example you have to sign a non disclosure? So then how can you tell anyone what your idea was? Will you be slapped with a law-suit when it does air and you start telling all your friends?
WWE dont have to accept the idea but it doesnt mean they cant mold it to suit someone else and credit creative with it.
Also, how in the blue hell does this be announced on raw? "This fantastic storyline has been thought up by long time wwe universe member XYZ."

Even if wwe DO use the idea you have to fork out your own money just for the privilege and you dont even get any monetary benefit if it goes over well.

Being honest, it may as well just be a "Meet Stephanie" lot. I guess they threw the pitch in as a way to increase interest in the lot.

Ooooh, a tour backstage from Sin Cara. Imagine all the pointing. :D

im guessing its like ebay, in that hes being outbid every time he made a bid, as the winning bidder has a very high bid it seems, hence the 4 bids.

Surely that would get enough interest by itself?

Sure but say WWE does use this idea in one form or another, I doubt They plan to give any revenue generated from it to the charity.

Anyway, we should all pitch in and send a representative. ;)

On the Vince McMahon DVD, Shane McMahon said one of the only story lines he refused to do was when Vince wanted him to be the father of Stephs baby

Stephanie also said on the DVD that Vince wanted to do a storyline where he himself was the father

Vince has issues, lets be honest.

It would have been different, you have to give him that.

You'd see nothing, really. Be ushered into some room backstage and Brock or whoever would come in and chat and then that would be it.

In brocks case, thats flattering even for him. Id say he will shake your hand, say hello, literally just hello, take a picture, sign a poster or tshirt or whatever, and be gone in 60 seconds.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,888 ✭✭✭Charisteas

No I don't think you will be allowed to say hello, and a hand-shake is a big no-no. I'd say you'll be allowed a slight nod of the head with no eye contact.
