One of my friends has been out of work for a while. They would be entitled to the Part-time Job Incentive scheme which gives an allowance of €119 a week if you work 24 hours a week or less.
My friend has a interview recently and is waiting to hear about a 2nd interview.
They were told at the interview that the job will be for 24 hours a week but due to business needs they may need to work more hours some weeks.
They just want some advice in regards to applying for the part time job incentive from any one here who is getting this payment.
They also want to know what you do if you have to work more than 24 hours in any one week.
