    Hi all,

I have a 2002 Toyota avensis d4d. All good except for the passenger footwells both front and back are soaking after any heavy rain. Very hard to get them dry as well.
Someone tried to break in couple of months ago and bent back door out a bit which I think was the start of it
In a car wash I noticed water coming in door seals. I bent door back into place and even put sealant around door seals. Still getting wet even though in a car wash now I can not see water coming in door any more.
Don't understand how footwells are both wet but under seat is not wet and seats are not wet. Also have rubber mats and they don't seem to be wet on top. Just underneath. Real head scratcher. Sorry for long post. Any ideas out there? Worried that water will eventually rot the floor.

    Cheers

Check your pollen filter? Not too sure where it's located on those cars.

Thanks Alan. Will do that. Would that explain rear passenger footwell though?
