An Post Package Delivery

    Hi all,

I ordered a phone on the Vodafone site and was promised delivery within two days (As I ordered after 3pm). I got the dispatch notice and everything seemed to be fine. Until I still hadn't received it 3 days later (Today) I rang them up and they were very helpful, they gave me all the info I needed about the order and what I could do next. Among the info was the Item number I could use to track the order. I had sent it to my business address and, as I work in a very small industrial estate, I knew that everything should be fine as long as the company name was on the box (Which it was). I found out from An Post tracking that the package had been delivered, and was signed for. The signature and name do not match anyone in the company I work for and none of the other companies around here seemed to have employees of that name, either (Believe me, I asked). Can anyone suggest what I could do? I was told by An Post that they would call back once they could find out more from the Postman, but I haven't heard anything back yet.

As far as I know , it is not up to you , but is Vodafones responsibility to confirm successful delivery .

This is another case of courier's messing up , and if they don't soon cop on and ensure they get correct signatures , there will be many more problems down the line .

Many times , all the major couriers have delivered to me , and fill in, all details themselves , by just asking me my name .

It ain't good enough in my opinion.

There are 4 Vodafone representatives on Boards.ie , so you could ask them to look into it for you .
