Hi, My friend is in Australia nearly a year now and wants to get his 2nd year visa. He had to get a background check and it came up he has a driving conviction for no insurance back in 2009. Nothing since. Will this affect his chance of getting a 2nd year visa? Thanks

has he done the 3 months regional work?

why did he have to get a police check? i don't think a relatively minor driving conviction like this is anything to worry about.
