    Hope someone can help me.

Having finally got the thing to work it is now clocking up miles even when it is just sitting on the table. Wrecking my head and cannot trust using it. Anyone any ideas?

It is picking up interference, not much you can do about it that I know of. Get a higher quality bike computer, or use a free smartphone app to clock your mileage.

Having bought a similar bike computer before I will pass on the advice I found on here on the issue.

Step 1. Completely disconnect computer, sensor and mount from bike.

    Step 2. Open bin lid.

Step 3. Put said bike computer in bin.

Step 4. Close bin lid and never look at again.

Step 5. Grab a beer, go online and buy a computer for more than 5 euro this time.

    Hope this helps.

I bought that bike computer and did as above after a few hours of messing with it. however it was good for my ego when it was telling me I was doing 99mph up a hill! Biggest waste of yo-yos ive had so far in biking

Bin It. They give nothing but trouble. Pay an extra €20 and buy a cateye!

I've had a few of these cheap ones. They suffer in particular from interference from my bike light flashing. I'm talking specifically about the wireless ones. The other common problem is that I normally use the bike computer to act as a clock to tell the time going to work but they never seem to be able to keep time and lose minutes almost on a daily basis.

The only advantage is that they have back lights, useful in the dark mornings. I'd love to get a recommendation for an inexpensive reliable computer with a back light.

Smash it and then bin it in case someone else finds it and attempts to use it.
