    Hi,

Does anyone know anything about the Thor brand?

Im in the market for a fridge freezer and a considering the Thor TH195.

    http://www.did.ie/thor-fridge-freezer-th195

DID electrical are doing it at 250 euro.

Price is right and the height suits my units. That is the main reason.

But I cant find any website for Thor and all searches for the product lead me back to DID's website.

    Cheers.

Thor is a generic brand , shomar.ie import them on behalf of did who I think are the sole sellers of these , mainly because the brand is known as a 'boomerang' -
much better entry level fridges , and a better selection in powercity.ie
for the same money you will get a branded fridge , less hassle and a bit better build quality

IMHO Thor should be avoided like the plague. I have a long & tedious story about a Thor fridge/freezer, but I won't inflict it upon everyone. suffice it to say that there are cheap in every way, except the long-term costs for the customer.

I advise you don't touch Whirlpool either. The quality of their products is very bad lately.
