Sky Box Freezes

    Quick question.,I got a 2nd hand Sky HD box for the kitchen on adverts here, when I tune in ITV1 HD in other channels and tick to store it the box freezes and I have to unplug it and try again but no luck. Any Ideas ??

    ITV HD is on Astra 1n which has a tighter beam focused here so can have a weaker singnal is dish isint aligned properly.
    Check your signal quality on both feeds needs to be around 70%.

    Different footprint of Astra 1N satellite compared with 2D, makes no difference to dish alignment.

    Thanks for the replies guys, I tried it again at lunchtime and it worked so not sure what happened.

    if it does happen again,leave the box unplugged for more than 2 minutes it does an update of the system if one is available.
