Any fans of Seattle music, make sure to check out this reissue from 1995 - Layne Staley, Mike McCready, John Baker Saunders and Barrett Martin supergroup. One of my favourite albums of the entire Seattle scene.

the live disc would have to be pretty spectacular for me to stump up the cash to buy it again..It`s hardly up there with VITALOGY or JAR OF FLIES but i`ve always liked that album.'ALL ALONE' is a beauty, never heard anything as subtle on a Pearl Jam album or AIC album..sounds even more poignant considering how two of the band members died.

Indeed. I particularly like "Long Gone Day" I must say. Shows a side of Staley's capabilities as a singer and songwriter that we never really saw in AIC, considering Cantrell is the dominant songwriter in that band. Shame the second album never came to fruition.

I only discovered them about 10 years ago, around the time Layne passed away. I remember I had an awful time finding the CD, I think I got it in that Sound Cellar place that used to be just on the corner of Grafton Street and Nassau Street.

Is the reissue worth getting for the new songs and the DVD? Havent got the cash to invest at the moment but will do so soon.

I bought it and it is well worth it for the liner notes alone!

Cheers! Looking forward to it now. There isnt enough footage of Layne Staley out there unfortunately. Looking forward to this big-time.

The extra songs with Mark Lanegan are pretty savage in my opinion. I haven't had the chance to listen to the live CD or watch the live dvd yet. A person on here sent me a bootleg of the live gig a few years back, so it's good to get a "cleaned up" dvd. I am a fan of Staley and the Seattle bands, so took the hit getting the reissue....
It's not often I buy albums anyhow....

Lanegan is a legend! His solo album "Bubblegum" is one of my favourite albums of the last 15 years, fantastic.

haven`t heard it..though not as good as the excellent `Bubblegum' by all accounts. His next release is to be titled `Black Pudding'...that doesn`t bode well.

It was good but didnt grab me like Bubblegum did. Worth a listen though - must go back to it again actually.
