How we doing? me? not great.

im putting in new angel lights, cfls. Bmw 520 (e39)

ive taken out the headlight,no problem. but im finding it very, very hard to seperate the lens from the main part of the headlight. am i missing something or is it just a case of sticking with it and coaxing it out with a 1/2" chisel:o

jeese,im at it the last 1hr and a half! fecks sake.

You will need to put it in an oven to melt the very strong adhesive that bonds the two together.

If you google "MK4 golf Joey mod DIY" you will find instructions on separating the mk4 golf headlights - imagine the BMW headlights will be pretty similar.

Whenever I seperate the lens I just put the lamp infront of the open fire. Starting at the warmest end I'll coax it off bit by bit using a screwdriver and knife
