been struggling with my game lately and I'm thinking of going to the gui academy for lessons. Was looking at the website and seen they have 4 or 5 different pros offering lessons. Not sure which one to go with, has anyone been for lessons there and how have you got on ? Who would you recommend ? Cheers

They all seem to be pretty good from what I've heard. Kenny Fahey is well liked. Good reports about Bernard Quigley, especially in short game.

Had a short game lesson with a lad named Krishna there, but pretty sure he is based elsewhere & was just in for the day. Think he's from Hollywood Lakes. Was a really good pro, made things simple and seemed genuinely interested

Going there for a full day clinic there tomorrow. Not sure which Pro is running it, but will report back after!

    +1 on Fahey.

Krishna is a good guy, He was the assistant in Ashbourne when I was younger. He is based in The Ward driving range and Hollywood Lakes I think. I have seen him up in the Academy a number of times taking the short game clinics alright.

He was there last night and his cards are still there so defintley not gone yet. He was double jobbing for a while I know that so he might be leaving but seemed pretty busy last night when talking to him.

Had an hour long lesson with Kenny Fahey last year, sound guy and the hour flew but didn't think I came away from the lesson with much to work on at the time. Would have liked a much more technical lesson with particular drills to work on (was trying to improve my follow through at the time) but instead he was trying to get me to feel shots and shape the ball accordingly.

Had a short game lesson with Bernard Quigley last year also, equally pleasant guy and liked his approach. Learnt alot on green side bunker play which was always a nervy aspect of my game. Some nice putting and chipping drills also.

While on the topic of lessons who do people think is the best short game coach in the Dublin area?
