I'm sick of Vodafone and their lack of competitiveness, and am thinking of moving to e-mobile. However, I haven't heard much about them, good or bad!
Has anyone any experiences or stories? What's the coverage like, etc? Any advice really appreciated!

I moved to emobile from o2 last week. Find coverage better than o2 in most areas. Data seems faster too. I'm based in Dublin though. Best thing is get a prepay SIM and test where you are using your phone mostly.

just moved to emobile from Vodafone a couple of weeks ago.went for the €32 SIM only plan, free calls to all mobiles and landlines & 15gb data allowance. Early days but so far I am very happy with the coverage, even on the m50 where voda used to always drop calls.was with Vodafone for years should have moved ages ago

That's exactly how I feel, they do nothing for you, always seems like they're doing you a favour by taking your money! Think I'll give e mobile a go, just seems too good to turn down!

Same as most companies, they're fine as long as you don't have a problem with the service.

With them a month now, on the 30 a month prepay pack, got 350 calls, texts, free landline and free meteor and emobile calls... And 1gb data

Still have not used all my minutes and I'm on my last day of it today....

Can't fault the packages - for my money I get free unlimited calls and texts to all networks and landlines and 15GB data per month

The back-office service/customer care is where it falls down though. Their billing operations caused me massive problems and were it not for the fact that they do have the best packages I'd probably have left.

However if you're persistent with the call centre and willing to escalate when needed you'll generally get satisfaction (as opposed to the "robots" on other networks...)

They're the same as meteor really - just different branding. Both share the same network, call centre, back-office and both owned by eircom.

No problem with them in nearly 12 months. ONly thing is that they don't do conditional forwarding, which means you can't use Hullomail. Pity, as its a much better system than the usual old voicemail.
