    Can I ask a question,

I have a old TV and I have the dish with a box to be able to i can see
UK TV but not the Irish tv,

Do I have to buy saorview and put a terrestrial on my roof
or can I just buy a small tv digital aerial without too much cost:pac::pac::pac:?

If you have an old TV with no Saorview tuner built-in then you'll require a separate Saorview STB attached to an aerial to watch the Irish channels.

    RTÉNL recommend an outdoor aerial.

Some households can use an indoor or attic mounted aerial attached to Saorview receiver to receive the channels but this will depend on how strong the signal is where you locate the aerial. It can vary from house to house and room to room.

Either way there is NO SUCH THING as a digital aerial.

Aim for one per TV - even if you can output the signal to multiple TVs with all the necessary wiring, there would (?) be fights over which channel to watch...

One for each TV would be recommended as homer posted above.

A Saorview STB doesn't have an RF out like a Sky receiver RF2-out so a modulator like this would also be required to feed the same channel to other TVs via co-ax.
