I like it. Think its very elegant, I think weddings have somewhat got a bit more casual but personally I love the occasion to dress up. You wont look out of place dressed up eithrr. Just make sure bridesmaids aren't same colour.

Thanks for that Chubchub,my hubby loves it on me & my friends are divided about it!!Hubby reckons if you can't get dressed up for a wedding where would you wear it,he's got a point i suppose!!!

I am undecided. I think it could look a bit to much like a Bridemaids dress. I wouldn't be to concerned about it looking to dressy,Your hubby is right! I suppose the best thing to do is find out what colour the bridemaids dresses are.

Love the colour - my only question against it would be ....

its a young persons dress - I'm assuming you are a young person

Depends on your viewpoint,I am a very young 40:D!!!& the bridesmaid dresses are plum so I have no worries in that regard:p

I would be inclined to say the opposite, it looks suitable for someone in their forties / fifties.

Go for it OP ...your hubby is right.

I think it's a beautiful maxi dress that is age appropriate right across the board. It doesn't emphasise cleavage/legs or any other body part and should just skim your body and ooze class. I'm a huge fan of maxi dresses for weddings so long as they aren't bridesmaidy and that dress isn't so go for it OP!
