Bought a harddrive with Windows on it can I put it in my iBook and reformat it

    It is already formatted with windows on it, so when I stick the drive in, and when I put in the install disc, and open the Disk Utility, I can reformat the hard drive to an Apple drive.

    Provided the hard disk will fit your Mac then there will not be any issues, just format it and choose the Mac File System and away you go.. :)
