What Colour Curtains

I have got a notion to re do my bedroom (on a budget). I repainted my wardrobes white and they turned out brill, I painted the walls a light to medium grey, which look great with the white wood, I have white linen on the bed and I bought a few cushion covers, with mustards, reds and greys but what colour curtains do you think? I need heavy curtains as the sun belts in the room in the morning and for privacy, so should I go with grey curtains, red, mustard? or something else???

I love purple with grey and white. although purple curtains probably wont go with reds and mustards.

Our bedroom walls are painted a soft sheen grey and off red colour.
I had Home-Focus custom make us a set of 2 tone grey wavey patterned blackout curtains.

The back of our house is south facing so it gets blasted with the sunshine all day long.:)

Curtains do a fantastic job of blocking out the sunlight.:)

I would stick with tones of grey for the curtains. If you stay with your grey and white scheme it will then allow you to change your accent colours with throws/cushions/tie backs any time it takes your fancy

Some pics...to give you an idea.

My girlfriend painted the bedroom grey.....(she painted the entire house actually,so fair play to her for it)........and she did one of the walls in a off red colour.
We then we used those sorts of colours on the duvet covers,bed throws and pillow cases too...to break/mx it all up a bit.

Thanks for all the input, decided to go with the grey curtains in the end so I could change cushions/throws/duvet etc if I wanted to change to room without forking out to much €€€€€'s love my new room. Paddy 147 room looks great, fair play to the g/f!
