Hi all my elderly neighbours tv stopped working, I tried re-scanning the channels but it can't seem to find any. He just has the one tv connected to a booster with saorview aerial in the attic. Thought he might need to put the aerial on the roof but if his set up worked yesterday why not today? Any ideas please :(

Is this in Limerick, in the city or where? When did you last try rescanning?

Have you tried rescanning this evening, there appears to be a lot of work going on at various transmitter sites which includes shutting down transmitters for periods of time during the day?

Have you checked that the booster/amp is still powered up?

Have you checked all connections incl. to TV, from aerial to amp, from amp to TV?

Do you know from which transmitter your neighbour receives his TV signal and on what UHF channel/frequency?
