I was just wondering about the conditions for fertilizing silage ground for an end of May cut.

I was thinking doing the silage ground in the coming days.

Just curious has anyone already put out theirs in the last few days or are planning to do it in the next couple of days?

yep looks like only south of country will get rain and then that front will head south east and keep most of the rest of country in an easterly airflow.Temps will be slightly up but only 2 to 3 degrees.going to make a complete balls of things if another week comes and low growth.Planned on throwing out a load of urea at weekend,Might have to change tack now and go with sulfa can instead.Ground has dried out something unreal in the last week

This spring will break all records and probably me. Having said that I am glad we started grazing early as the cover is not too bad on this ground.
