Tuning SKY+ Remote to Sharp TV

    Hi guys,

    I just got a new sharp tv (lc40f22e) and I can't seem to tune my new SKY+ remote to it.I dont all the red light blinking twice stuff but still nothing.It's a REV 9 model.

    It can change the volume on the tv but not change the channels for some reason or go into SKY.

    Any ideas??

    Yes, after entering the 4 digit code, I think I've tried everything to be honest :(

    I'm not 100% certain I'm with you PAU.
    The sky remote should work without doing anything to it.
    The only thing you program it is for the volume.
    Do you mean you can't change the channel on sky with it?

    So your saying it should work after you press the SKY button?

    It would control the SKy box after pressing the Sky button, or any of the 4 blue buttons just underneath.

    Is your Sky box connected via Scart to the TV?

    Is Scart Control enabled on the Services menu?

    Can you go manually to the AV1/EXT1 on your TV remote to see the Sky channels?

    Maybe the Scart lead at back of Sky box is in the VCR socket, not the one labelled for TV.
