Going to see 2 cars tomorrow

I'm going to go see 2 skoda fabias tomorrow. Both the same price but both very different.

Has anyone any advise on this particular model, anything specific to look out for?

The first initially looks great. 2005 low mileage, full service history nct tax etc. But it's almost too cheap in comparison to others online.
My biggest concern is I noticed when checking online it has changed hands in the last 3 months. I don't like the sound of it.
I haven't asked the question yet I would like to ask them tomorrow how long they have owned it.

The second car looks great. Body not in as good nick and it's 2003 and nctd but the mileage is incredibly low for an 03 car. Although it is an elderly owner who says they don't use it much. Since mileage is so low I wouldn't expect a huge service history. I'm hoping the oil was regularly serviced but I'll find out tomorrow.
Should I be concerned with mileage being very low?

    Thanks

Well the sound of a car thats changed hands that many times in such little time sounds very dodgy, if u really like it tho definetly bring a mechanic with u and ask alot of questions.

The second car should have been serviced at least once a year, despite the low mileage as most garages specify a certain mileage/12 months between services.

Dunno about the first one though.

Sometimes you just have to follow your gut with these things. If you're not happy with the first one before you even see it. Leave it off. Changing hands so quickly would raise questions in my mind anyway.

The other side of that car changing hands could be that the owner didn't like the car and wanted rid, different circumstances- a baby might be on the way and they're prepping early. You never know these things. Yes, it sounds dodgy but the ball is firmly in your court. You have the info that it's changed hands, pop the question and if they say I've owned it longer well then you know somethings up and walk away.

If the sellers genuine with you and says I only have it a few months I'm selling because...etc. Probe them :)

In the bangernomics thread, I think it was MidLands- correct me if I'm wrong, who bought a Yaris and had it sold on no sooner then he/she had it. What's wrong with a bit of wheeling and dealing?
