Came across this on the net.. How could it not be a fake on a chinese website, I hope nobody would be stupid enough to buy this.

Anyone who sends $27,000 to a Chinese seller for something on eBay deserves everything they get.

The feedback is a common eBay bait-and-switch scam. They sell a handful of genuine items at a relatively low price (in this case the guy has been selling handbags) to build decent feedback, and then suddenly start offering more expensive stuff in the hope that buyers will be encouraged by the good feedback.

Though I've never seen a ramp like this, usually they only start pretending to sell $400 iPhones, not $27k bikes.

Selling it for vastly more than you'd expect to pay normally for it is an new and interesting tactic. Usually they're bargain basement prices that ring the alarm bells.

I don't know about that, 93.3 is pretty high, it's only 6.7 less that 100.

Maybe he'd throw in a handbag or two with the bike then?
