OpenStreetMaps for Garmin

    Downloaded some of these maps yesterday and they're great - seem better than the garmin City Maps. Like the white background which is easier to see and hence navigate. There's an image file that comes with it, similar to Garmin Birdseye View I believe, but you need to be fairly technical to get it working. Anyone know how to get it on the Garmin?

    Not sure how to answer your question, but it may also be worth checking out the OpenStreetMap Cycle maps too.

    Ya have done this but it's a very technical thing to do (getting the birdseye imagery on for free) and thought I might have some luck on here.
