round up is what you need. spray in dry windless conditions if poss. wash about 2-3 hours later, but longer if you can wait.

get best results by spraying with a fine mist sprayer.

Roundup ( A brand Name) contains the Chemical active ingredient 'Glyphosate' which is a broad-spectrum systemic herbicide used to kill weeds (Kills Most Plants if it lands on the growing leaf)
Lots of different named weed killers now contain Glyphosate in varying strengths and sometimes with extra chemicals to aid absorption / Stickers / or to kill other Plants the Glyphosate can't kill.

One Brand Name 'Path Clear' which used to contain Glyphosate/Roundup and another chemical that Prevents/kills weed/Plant seeds from germinating for some period of time Months/weeks, sorry can't remember this chemical name.

What ever chemical you use ... 2 to 3 hours is not long enough time to be absorbed.

Glyphosate used to be min 7 hours to dry /absorb.

Spray today and power wash in min 2 weeks!!! you will see some/most weeds have died or going yellow.

    +1 to this.
The name of the product in path clear is simazine iirc, but like you said the roundup isn't rainfast for 5 to 6 hours, although roundup biactive claims it's rainfast in 1 hour, I still wouldn't power wash on or near the weeds for at least a week or until I visibly saw signs of the roundup working i.e. the weeds start to turn yellow.
