cthw heating

    Is there someone who could let me have the meaning of of 'cthw perimeter heating' and a brief description of how it works ?

    Perimeter heating is usually a slim radiator made of finned copper pipes that replace your skirting board. Advantages are that you've no radiators taking up wall space and it's very low profile, so you can fit it under low windows and so on.

    Works well but can be expensive and time-consuming to fit.

    Afriad I've never heard of CTHW, although I presume the HW is hot water.

    The reason I asked about this is that I saw a specification note saying 'PRESSURISED CTHW PERIMETER HEATING INSTALLATION' noted on an old M/E plan - and did not know recognise 'CTHW' -
    could it mean
    'circuit temp hot water ?
