If i am using an Broker and i have a pension and serious illness cover, if i want to cancel or freeze any of these products will the insurance companies do this or must i go through my broker ??

Any instruction on cancelling a product would need to come from yourself in a signed written instruction, a broker actually could not cancel on your behalf. But your broker will receive a confirmation that you cancelled the policy.
