On the lookout for wheels like the Mavic Open Pros on 105/ultegra/DA hubs. The usual spec, 32+ spokes, 10sp hub

If you have something similar around Dublin, I'd be interested

You going to one of the races at the weekend? I could have a look at them there? What sort of price are you thinking?

I've a set of black/silver open pros dura ace never seen a bike bought last year and sold the frame and bits so have the wheels left.
    They come with the skewers.
Honestly wasnt going to sell them so I Couldn't let go for any less then €260

Guys. thanks for the offers. I might sit on this for a few more days to see if anyone has an ultegra or 105 hub version. Your asking prices are on the upper end of what I would like to pay.

I might be interested in these if OP isn't...what's the spoke count? Where are you based?

    Hi,

Apologies for jumping in on this thread.

I am also looking for a set of handbuilt mavic open pro rims on dura ace hubs (32h) to replace my existing wheels. If these hubs can take a shimano 9 speed cassette i would be interested. Would it be possible to post pictures of these ? Also do you know what spokes are used ?

    Regards

    John

I have been looking for training wheels recently and I have read alot about open pros with ultegra hubs, they have great deals on rosebike http://www.roseversand.com/article/road-bike-wheel-set-28700-c-mavic-open-pro--shimano-ultegra/aid:401784

So what is the big deal about these wheels? Is it just that they are bullet proof and suitable for clydedales.
