Internal Doors

    Hi,
I've just bought a house and the internal doors are those cheap white ones as per this link http://www.1doors.co.uk/internal/products/4-panel-4/#, for the time being I'm going to keep them so I want to paint them with white oil based paint.
My question is do I need to use primer / undercoat on the back & front faces?, so far I've painted the outside of the frame (where the wood is exposed) with the primer / undercoat.

    regards,

    Zeppi

if the wood is exposed I'd would use a primer first.
If not then you should be fine with undercoat.
A sanding with a fine grade paper and a sanding block between coats will give you a really nice finish
