ROS inconsistencies

I'm so fed up with ROS and its inconsistencies with timing. Does anyone else notice this? I especially notice it when I'm registering new employees. On 21st March I uploaded a batch of P46 files, and the employees have still not been registered. However sometimes when I upload the files, I have data back within a couple of days. I've had to ring up so often about delays in processing new employees, and whenever I speak to someone they have no explanation for it, and they just register the employees over the phone. I thought the whole point of encouraging people to use ROS more was to reduce the calls, but I'm more inclined to now ring up to register an employee over the phone as it just takes too long on ROS.

ROS has had problems with P46 files forever! I just phone the next day after filing the P46 as I know nothing will happen until I do.

I have always had trouble with the P2C data on ROS not updating. I used to ring
to find out why the employee was not registered yet to find out that they were but ROS hadn't updated.

I upload the P46's then tell the employers to get the employees to call the Revenue the following week to request a new tax credit certificate.

I make sure to tell the employers that the employee must make sure they are registered to their business while on the phone to the Revenue.

Saves me hours per month not having to ring the Revenue and find out the tax credits over the phone.

I have had problems using ROS . It seems to be designed for use by accountants and people who sit at their desk all day. Try printing a P45 after 6 pm when an employee is leaving so that you can give it to them ( as is required by law).
It is the most user unfriendly site . It is just not intuitive .
You can get statements but you have to move around the site like a yoyo and you cannot see them until they are downloaded.
You can only use it at your own computer - not very useful if you travel a lot and have nobody in the office.
