Definitely a legitimate business scam - I can tell by not clicking on the link and not reading all the details you didn't post.

I'm not an expert but it looks dodgy as ****. The whole premise seems to be some pyramid selling scheme where you re-sell some postcards or postcard book to others and recoup your money back while they're free to re-sell it and do the same thing.

If you google the fantasically named "David SHILLito" you'll find a lot of result, all of which seem to have been SEO-ed to death by David himself. If it looks too good to be true it probably is. Even the shiny/bloggy design of the site screams scam. Sorry OP.

    1) What, exactly, is the 'scam' in Postcardcash? Who is getting conned? About what? (Clue: stop looking, its 100% commission dropshipping with the sales process done for you, merged with Direct Mail - a 100 year old model)

If it is so easy to sell this book then why are you letting someone else sell it for your and keep all the profit? Why don't you just send out the postcards and keep the money?

Sounds like a ponzi scheme to me.

Not sure if it's a scam but direct mail marketing by postcard is actually an excellent idea. People are always going to pick up and read a postcard coming in the door as opposed to leaflets which usually get thrown straight in the bin.

    A few ideas & questions gentlemen ...

    1) What, exactly, is the 'scam' in Postcardcash? Who is getting conned? About what? (Clue: stop looking, its 100% commission dropshipping with the sales process done for you, merged with Direct Mail - a 100 year old model)

    2) I have no clue who 'jumboman' is

    3) Did you know Shillito is an old Yorkshire name?

    4) Yes, I know SEO, not a surprise for the MD of a 33 year old marketing company & 13 year net vet

Dave, you're a generous man, what can I say.
There are many out there who would keep all those £97 for themselves, but not you, you are happy to share your largesse with all comers who can post a postcard (and it looks like as if you don't even have to post the postcard, you will do it for me), as I say, a generous man, fair play!

So, who has tried out this system? Any of you?

I'd also like to hear why people - who haven't even lifted a finger to try it - dismiss this as a "scam". Who is being "scammed"? What's the "scam"?

It's a tried and tested marketing method, updated for the 21st Century, which - if you have a bit of nous and entrepreneurial spirit - has endless possibilties.

What those who shout "scam" want is a "get rich quick" scheme, that requires no financial input, no work done, and a guaranteed result, instantly. Ain't gonna happen.

But why do I care what you lot think? It's working for me, if you want to sit on your thumbs shouting "scam" at every opportunity you see, by all means do. I'm just going to have a look at my bank account, see how much money's come in today.

P.S. Check out Dave Shillito, does he seem like a "scammer" to you? He's hardly hiding in a basement is he?

Oh yes, you think I'm Dave Shillito.

"Investment forum" my @rse! You're looking for a "get rich quick" scheme that costs you f-all, and that you have to do f-all with to earn you money. Good luck with that, loser.

You'll still be dissing this idea in ten years time, telling people "it doesn't work, it's a scam", without ever having checked it out.

So, loser, WHO is being scammed, and WHAT'S the scam? I've been doing this 18 months, and have yet to find a scam, unless by "scam" you mean "business idea that's easy, simple, cheap to run and works really well"

But you've already made your mind up, the mind of a loser and waster.

**** you losers, I'm out of here.

    Afraid not.

This forum has rules and seemingly this thread is a black hole as far as those rules are concerned. As such, thread closed.
