Hi folks, I am just wondering if anybody has recently got a transfer recently via Decentralision Central Application(CAF). Basically I am working in Dublin but want to get a move to closer to home in Meath. My personnel Unit, I have to say are hopeless, they told me in January of last year to fill out the CAF form on the Public Jobs website as this is the only way I can get a transfer. One of my Friend's Girlfriend who is also in the Public service has said that she believes that this as been done away. I contacted Public Jobs last week about it but they have not got back to me. I know that they have have the transfers in the Union Magazine which I have been looking at regularly but have had no luck there. I would appreciate if anybody has had any joy recently in getting a transfer through CAF, cheers.
