Photoshop cs2 - automate - batch - add name difficulties.

Perhaps someone can help me out with a problem with Photoshop CS2. I am posting albums of photographs to a website and want my name to appear on each shot. To speed things up I set up "Automate - Batch - Add Name". It is working after a fashion in that it puts the name on each photograph but the problem is that the name appears at a different size on some - very small indeed on some so that it cannot be seen.

Has anybody come across this or can anybody advise on how to remedy it?

    Many thanks.

Are you resizing the images too? The watermark is probably the same size but the images vary, depending on how they were cropped/edited.

Kenny, Many thanks for your comment.

I resized the images first, again in a batch action [File - Scripts - Image Processor] and then go on after this has been completed to add the name [File - Automate - Batch]

Try opening the actions panel and looking through the list of recorded steps to see if there is something affecting the text size (incrementally?), and remove it.

Many thanks again, Kenny. I have gone through the Action panel and the detailed descriptions of the task there and can see nothing which might cause any problem.

I imagine that even if there was something peculiar I should get the same peculiarity in each and every photograph.

It may well remain a mystery.

    Many thanks.

Searching and searching and I have come on a mention of scaling a watermark so it adjusts to the size of the image but no details on how etc yet.

I think that may be the problem, that the images are of different size though I don't know how as I resize all to 800 x 600 pixels for uploading to web.

    I continue to be baffled.

Can you export the action, zip it, and post it here? I'm curious now...

I have noticed that the size of the text is somehow related to the size of the original image. Images which I have cropped heavily have text which is considerably smaller.

If I could post the action here I would but I'm afraid it is beyond my abilities.

    Many thanks..
