    Hi all,
I won tickets for the premiere of Oblivion in the Savoy :D and I have no idea what to wear?! I know all the famous people will be dressed up (Tom Cruise will be there after all!) But what to wear when you are just a member of the public?!

    Thanks

No need to go too formal! A dress (flats or heels) or jeans dressed up would be suitable, IMO. If you can hack it, look up premieres on www.showbiz.ie The Irish "celebs" don't go too dressy for them.

    Thanks!
I'm presuming this will be ok, as I'm also walking the red carpet (apparently!)

I've been to several premieres - some people come in full ballgown & tux. But unless you're a 'slab, there's not much point in that. I've usually gone just wearing work clothes.

I went to Sex & The City movie Canadian premiere, we just wore jeans and blazers with heels and a cute top (more because we were going out after and wanted to look decent), the people there who were actually related to the film were in casual dresses for women and casual suits or shirt and pants for men.

Cheers guys. It's going to be casual I think, as I'm going straight from work.. Here's hoping I'll meet the man himself! ;-)

It really depends on whether you're going to the after party or not. If not, just wear whatever you'd normally wear to the flicks. If you are, wear "going out" clothes.

You'll be roundly ignored on the red carpet whatever you wear; the photographers only care about the 'slebs. In fact, be prepared to be unceremoniously ushered out of the way if you happen to be in the way of someone's shot.
