Hello boys and girls. I need some guidance and this seems like the right place to go and I would like to apologize if that ends up being long:
To get the obvious stuff out of the way-I'm not Irish and I've never been to Ireland. I've met hundreds of Irish people over he years and they were all lovely. Kind of crazy but in an extremely likable way. I am a computer programmer from a country known as Bulgaria where I've spent give or take 60% of my life.

Here is my issue-my parents didn't choose a rewarding or well paid career, so with both of them being artists I'd say I have a better chance at finding cure for cancer than them getting retired. And as any (somewhat) normal human being I would start considering my options. Problem is that while I may be living well enough on my own, I realize full well that a smudge over 11000 euros a year will not be enough for me and my parents in a few years. Which leaves me with two options-abandon sleeping completely and work as a freelancer during the night(not something recommended for long periods) or a one way ticket for the second time in my life, which sounds much more reasonable. It doesn't bother me-I'm not sentimental. And I do realize that it's far better to take actions while I'm 25 and my parents are 50-ish.

Which brings me to my point-looking around the internet and having mt arsenal of programming languages, salaries for such programmers in Dublin and Cork(my only criteria is large cities) go around 35-60000 euros / year which makes it an average of 47500/year. I don't intend to ask for less than anybody else so in other words-I would rely on my skills. Now numbers on paper are as easy as anything could possibly get. But statistics on the internet are not real life for better or worse. The question is-would 3 modest people(computers, internet and some books is all we really need) be able to make it in Dublin or Ireland in general with that amount of money. Yes, It would be far cheaper to send them money but I have two issues with that:
    1. I've lived long enough without them and I want to have them around me.
    2. It wouldn't be fair to benefit other countries with the money made in the country of residence.

I expect questions such as "Why considering Ireland" so to answer those in advance:
    1.As I said-Irish people are awesome.
    2.So is the music.
    3.So are the movies.
    4.From what I've seen-nature.
5.Language barrier or rather the lack of such.
6.Beer(not a major factor but not to be ignored) a few times a year.

Yes, it did end up being long. I apologize. This is something that has baffled me for months now and I would deeply appreciate some guidance.
    Thank you.

I'm not really understanding on what your looking for, but in relation to 35K I'd say it'd be hard to get a job for around that money since you've never been to Ireland

I could be wrong and as jobs aren't popping up everywhere either people are leaving Ireland more so than people coming in to look for work

Can you bullet point your questions? As it really isnt clear what you are asking!

I cannot express how much I appreciate your input. But yeah-pretty much what I thought. In that case I might plan a small trip in the next months to look around and see what it's like more or less and give it another thought. Erm draiochtanois-I'm not talking about something that needs to happen within next few days lol. But 6 months to a year isn't particularly a long time so yeah... I know Java, I just hate it-it's just a huge mess everywhere you look. My personal preference would be C/Python and in general something bonded with the Linux ecosystem-I truly believe in the philosophy behind it. The technological advantages, to my mind at least, are simply a bonus. Again-thank you all very very much.
