Had a recent bereavement - family but i wasn't very close but knew the rest of siblings, parents etc quite well. it's the 5th bereavement in the space of 2 years and each time i just become so unmotivated. the other people i lost, I was closer to and their passing really got to me. I have so much work to do for college in next few weeks and can't see how i'm going to get through it.. i cant take time off and i cant delay anything because i'm on deadlines and almost finished so no extensions etc.

think i just wanted to vent.

Even when you are not close to someone their death can knock you for six. It shows that we aren't immortal. You have had a lot to deal with lately by the sounds of it, and it's normal that it affects your attitude to life. Death can demotivate you - but only if you let it. While college & assignments are a pain & can stop you doing things you enjoy, they are instrumental in helping you on the path of life that you choose career wise. Try to think positively - why are you doing your course - where will it lead you. Think of the happiness of getting the career that you want and how that will aid happiness in future years. If you can use things that affect you in life to help you go forward rather than hold you back it can help a lot in my experience. Positive mental attitude is a great weapon. X
