Watched this a few times seems to be huge over in the states. It appears one of the main cast members shain gandee has died along with 2 other men in a car accident.R.I.P

Jesus, only a child.
They used to do a lot of the repairs on the cars themselves, wonder could this have anything to do with Carbon Monoxide poisoning?

Yea it said on a website the back pipe was blocked with mud from the way they had crashed so maybe if the engine was still running is what caused it. its still early days yet they had been filming season 2 as well but this has been put on hold. sad way to go.

mtv has pulled the plug, production on hold indefinitely....many calling for it to be axed.

Yea i read that in an earlier thread.it had the potential to be a huge hit much along the lines of jersey show it even grossed 1 more more viewers then that did in its first episode. i just find the story strange him and his uncle and a friend left the pub at 3 am to go dirting and were missing 30 hours before there tuck was found. such a sad way to go.even in tonight's episode shain was asked by his parents where would he be in 5 years made for sad viewing. i cant imagine the show will be for season 2 as he was the main cast member by far.

There is no way MTV will axe it now. Theyre is always calls for their shows to be dropped. Even jersey shore resulted in a majority of advertises refusing to air on mtv but it was their biggest hit.

Since two of the other cast member have been arrested in the last week( one for DUI and one for heroin procession). MTV wont announce filming for a while. You cant axe a show over what a cast member did drunk one night when they werent even filming (he posted on twitter something like lets get wasted tonight)

i don't think its fair to say he was drunk as we don't no that for sure yet. but its fair to say it was more then likely drink influenced as they left a pub at 3 am but all will be announced over the coming weeks i am sure.

yea it is a very popular show alright.

He mentioned in the show he was arrested for a DUI before. So I think alcohol probably played a major factor. Its pretty sad especially since he is the only guy on the show that seems genuinely nice and real

Yea thats true i agree it more then likely did play a major factor. such an awful thing to happen just when they were starting to get famous and a 2nd season had been put forward to film his parents seemed cool the poor father will have to bury his brother and son over the comeing days.

Might aswell update it the manner of death was listed as accidental and the cause of death was carbon monoxide poisoning It is thought that because the muffler was buried in the mud, exhaust leaked into the cabin of the vehicle.. it seems the family made very little from the first season as this is the norm with new shows. mtv are assisting in paying for the funeral as the family cant afford it. a sad end to the story r.i.p.
