New house build - which cables?

I'm at the start of a house build and need to submit cable plans soon. I will at some stage install a projector, just want to get it wired up during the build.

The cable will have to run 10-12 meters and I would want it to be relatively future-proof. I was thinking that maybe a pair of cat-6 or cat-7 cables would be the best option and to convert them at the end to whatever the current standard is (today being HDMI).

Would this be the best option or what would you suggest? Plus, what else would need to run to a projector (apart from electricity)?

you would be safe enough running high speed 15m hdmi cable from your AV Receiver to the projector location, maybe run 2 lengths of Cat6 cable while your at it to future proof yourself, if you can afford it run 2 hdmi and 2 cat6 cables.

Run speaker cable from your AV receiver location to where you are going to put your Left/centre/right/Surround speaker locations while the walls are open, you will have no unsightly cables running around your room.
